Executive Order 20-87

Eighty-second Supplemental Emergency Declaration – Extension of Various Executive Orders

WHEREAS, on March 9, 2020, I issued Executive Order 20-02 declaring a state of emergency due to the dangers to health and life posed by COVID-19 and that Order is in effect until at least November 2, 2020;

WHEREAS, on April 27, 2020, I issued Executive Order 20-29 promoting better coordination on health care coverage and that Order has been extended until October 27, 2020;

WHEREAS, on May 27, 2020, I issued Executive Order 20-39 authorizing adjustments to child care subsidies and reimbursement rates and that Order has also been extended until October 27, 2020;

WHEREAS, on July 29, 2020, I issued Executive Order 20-56 authorizing adjustment to the Wavemaker Fellowship Program and that Order has been extended until October 27, 2020; and

WHEREAS, on August 28, 2020, I issued Executive Order 20-68 setting the minimum weekly base rate for unemployment insurance and that Order has been extended until October 27, 2020.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GINA M. RAIMONDO, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Governor of the State of Rhode Island, pursuant to Article IX of the Rhode Island Constitution and the Rhode Island General Laws, including, but not limited to, Title 30, Chapter 15, do hereby extend the following Executive Orders:

  1. Executive Order 20-29 (Twenty-Sixth Supplemental Emergency Declaration - Promoting Better Coordination of Health Care Coverage).

     
  2. Executive Order 20-39 (Thirty-Sixth Supplemental Emergency Declaration - Authorizing adjustments to Child Care Subsidies and Reimbursement Rates).

     
  3. Executive Order 20-56 (Fifty-First Supplemental Emergency Declaration - Adjustment to Wavemaker Fellowship Program).

     
  4. Executive Order 20-68 (Sixty-Third Supplemental Emergency Declaration - Setting the Minimum Weekly Base Rate for Unemployment Insurance).

This Executive Order shall take effect on October 27, 2020 and remain in full force and effect until November 26, 2020 unless renewed, modified or terminated by subsequent Executive Order.
