AttendanceMattersRI: Governor McKee, Commissioner Infante-Green Recognize Weekly Attendance Leaders and Improved School (Week of May 5, 2024) Published on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 PROVIDENCE, RI – Acknowledging the importance of consistent attendance in education and in alignment with the #AttendanceMatters campaign, Governor Dan McKee and Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle, and high schools with the greatest average weekly attendance. The following schools are Rhode Island’s attendance leaders for the week of May 5, 2024*: Elementary: Frenchtown School, East Greenwich – 98% Middle: Times2 STEM Academy** – 98.6% High: The Greene School – 96.9% Special recognition is extended to the following schools for demonstrating the most improved average attendance rates from the previous week: Elementary: James H.
