PROVIDENCE, RI — Acknowledging the importance of consistent attendance in education and in alignment with the #AttendanceMattersRI campaign, Governor Dan McKee and Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle, and high schools with the greatest average weekly attendance.

The following schools are Rhode Island’s attendance leaders for the week of March 24, 2025*:

  • Elementary: State Street School, Westerly – 98.1%
  • Middle: Westerly Middle School – 97.7%
  • High School: Segue IFL Legacy High School – 97.6%

Special recognition is extended to the following schools for demonstrating the most improved average attendance rates from the previous week:

  • Elementary: Wyman School, Warwick – 6.5%
  • Middle: Broad Rock Middle School, South Kingstown – 3.4%
  • High School: Chariho Alternative Learning Academy** – 3.3%

The Governor and Commissioner express their gratitude and encouragement to all schools in Rhode Island for their ongoing efforts to prioritize attendance and reinforce the value of consistent learning experiences for all students.
