PROVIDENCE, RI - Governor Dan McKee has directed Rhode Island state flags to be flown at half-staff at all state facilities and buildings. The flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of interment in memory of Senator Frank Lombardo (D-25), who passed away overnight.

"I’m devastated to learn about the passing of Senator Frank Lombardo, and our hearts go out to his family, friends, and loved ones,” said Governor McKee. "Senator Lombardo was a dedicated and passionate leader who worked to make Rhode Island a better place for everyone. While his legacy will live on, he will be deeply missed."
