­­­­­Governor McKee Nominates Carol O’Donnell to Rhode Island Commerce Corporation Board, Reappoints Three Members

PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Dan McKee today announced that he has selected Carol O’Donnell as his nominee to serve on the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation Board.

“Carol's 30 plus year career in the construction industry will be a great asset to the board. I am confident her work in this new role will continue to help make our state's diverse and growing economy even stronger,” said Governor McKee.

O’Donnell brings over 34 years of experience in the construction and sales industries. She currently serves as President of Emerald Re-Construction LLC, Emmy LLC and CRM Modular Homes, all of Johnston. Carol is also serving her third term as President of RI Builders Association, the first woman to hold that position in 75 years.

“It is an honor to be appointed to the board. I am looking forward to participating in the growth and further development of the State of Rhode Island,” said O’Donnell.

The Governor has submitted O’Donnell’s name to the Rhode Island Senate for advice and consent. The Governor has also reappointed the following names to the Commerce Board. George Nee, Brenda Dann-Messier, and Donna Sams.
