Statement from Governor McKee on Judge Vogel's Retirement from the Rhode Island Superior Court

PROVIDENCE, RI – Rhode Island Superior Court Associate Justice Netti Vogel today informed Governor Dan McKee that she is retiring from the Court as of August 31, 2022. She was nominated to the bench by Governor Bruce Sundlun in 1994.

In response to this news, Governor McKee has released the following statement:

“On behalf of the State of Rhode Island, I want to thank Judge Vogel for her service on the bench. Judge Vogel has worked tirelessly for more than two decades on complex and critical cases always giving fair and impartial consideration in her decisions. While she is retiring from the bench, I am confident that she will continue to assist the legal profession in many other ways. I wish her the best in her next endeavor.”
